LM Vertical Roller Mill

There are mainly three types in LM vertical grinding mill: the K series, the M series and the N series. Each type is suitable for different materials. The K series vertical grinding mill is frequently used for grinding metallic and non-metallic ores; the M series vertical grinding mill normally used for grinding coal while the N series vertical grinding mill for materials that are different to be ground. The Info Of LM Vertical Roller Mill

  • Feed size: less than10mm
  • Production capacity: 22-250t/h
  • Application: metallurgy, construction, chemical and mining industries, being the preferred equipments in grinding industry.
  • Suitable material: non-flammable and non-explosive materials the Moh's hardness under 9.3, such as grinding quartz, feldspar, calcite, talcum, barite, fluorite, iron ore, copper ore quartz, slag, cement clinker, zircon sand, fly ash and carborundum, coal, etc.

Working Principle

The motor drives the grinding disc to rotate through decelerator. The material falls on the center of the disc from the feeding opening, at the same time the hot air enter the mill from the air inlet. With the rotation of the grinding disc, due to the centrifugal force, materials move to the edge of the grinding disc. The materials are ground by the force of the roller when passing by the groove on the grinding disc. The ground materials are brought up by high-speed airflow, the larger particles fall down to the grinding disc for secondary grinding. When the ground materials in the airflow pass the separator on the top of the mill, the coarse powder falls down to the grinding disc for regrinding while the powder with required sizes comes out with the airflow and will be collected by the dust collector.

The materials content moisture will be dried when they are mixed with the airflow. By adjusting the temperature of the hot airflow, the material can reach different requirements and also by adjusting the separator, the material can be ground into proper fineness.
